Goodnight Mommy revolves around a mother and her ten-year old twins. Or is she really their mother? In a hot summer day, two ten-year old twins are waiting for their mother to return from her plastic surgery. When she returns, her face is wrapped with bandages; even her personality has taken quite a shocking change. Distant, cold and at times mean, the two boys start to wonder whether this is really their mother, and they are planning to take extreme measures in order to find out the shocking truth.
